ErecPower Ingredients: What Is in Each Capsule

Quick answer

ErecPower is made with six plant ingredients.

They are hawthorn berry, tribulus, chrysin, epimedium, saw palmetto and tongkat ali. In human trials, tongkat ali raised testosterone mainly in men who started low.

For the label view, see the ErecPower supplement facts.

What ingredients are in ErecPower?

ErecPower lists six plant ingredients: hawthorn berry, tribulus, chrysin, epimedium, saw palmetto and tongkat ali. The amount of each one is not published. The seller graphic calls the blend plant ingredients plus natural minerals, yet it names no mineral.

Each ingredient has a long history in traditional use. The human research behind them is far less even. The table below shows what each one is and the claim it is linked to on the sales page.

Hawthorn berry in ErecPower: the circulation ingredient

Hawthorn berry is the ingredient most tied to the ErecPower claim that it promotes circulation. It comes from a shrub in the rose family. People have used its berries, leaves and flowers in heart tonics for centuries.

The human data do not show a clear effect on blood vessels. That matters because circulation is one of the five sales-page claims.

What the research on hawthorn found

  • In 21 adults with mildly high blood pressure, 1,000 to 2,500 mg of hawthorn extract did not change artery widening or blood pressure (Asher et al., 2012).
  • The US health agency NCCIH rates the heart evidence as mixed (NCCIH, 2025).
  • No trial we found tested hawthorn for sexual function in men.
Heart medicine note. Hawthorn may interact with heart drugs such as digoxin (NCCIH, 2025). If you take heart or blood-pressure medicine, or nitrates, talk to your doctor before you try ErecPower.

Tribulus in ErecPower: popular, but no testosterone rise

Tribulus is a low, spiny plant used in folk medicine across Europe and Asia. It shows up in many men's formulas because of its link to testosterone. Yet human trials have not found that link.

Some trials in men with erection problems reported small gains in sexual scores. Others found nothing. These results describe the herb alone, not the product.

What the research on tribulus found

  • In 21 young men, four weeks of tribulus did not change testosterone or related hormones (Neychev et al., 2005).
  • In men with erectile dysfunction, 800 mg a day for 30 days did no better than placebo (Santos et al., 2014).
  • A 12-week trial in 180 men at 1,500 mg a day found modest gains in erection scores but no testosterone change. The maker of the extract funded it (Kamenov et al., 2017).
  • A 2025 review called the erection results mixed and found no solid proof of a testosterone boost (Vilar et al., 2025).

The full story is in the post on tribulus and testosterone.

Chrysin in ErecPower: a flavonoid the body barely absorbs

Chrysin is a plant flavonoid found in passionflower, honey and propolis. Lab work suggested it might slow the change of testosterone into estrogen. In people, very little of it reaches the blood.

Two small human studies sum up the problem. One looked at absorption, and one looked at testosterone.

  • After a single 400 mg dose in seven people, blood levels of chrysin were tiny (Walle et al., 2001).
  • Men who took chrysin in propolis and honey for 21 days showed no change in urinary testosterone (Gambelunghe et al., 2003).

So chrysin adds little support to the ErecPower testosterone claim, based on current research.

Epimedium (horny goat weed) in ErecPower: animal data only

Epimedium is a leafy plant from China, sold under the name horny goat weed. Its main compound is icariin. Almost all of the sexual-health research on icariin comes from animals and lab dishes.

No human trial of epimedium for sexual function turned up in our search. What exists in people is a short safety study.

  • Icariin improved erections in rats with nerve injury, at 1 to 10 mg per kg a day (Shindel et al., 2010).
  • In 24 adults, icariin at 100 to 1,680 mg a day for five days left very low blood levels. The top dose upset some stomachs (Brown et al., 2019).

Rat results often do not carry over to people. Treat epimedium as the least tested of the six.

Saw palmetto in ErecPower: a prostate herb, not a sexual-health herb

Saw palmetto comes from the berries of a small palm tree in the southeastern US. It is mostly studied for urinary symptoms in men with an enlarged prostate. It has not been studied for sexual function.

Even for urinary symptoms, the largest review found little benefit.

  • A Cochrane review of 27 trials and 4,656 men found little to no benefit for urinary symptoms (Franco et al., 2023).
  • Side effects were similar to placebo, and NCCIH calls it generally well tolerated (NCCIH, 2025).

Its role in ErecPower is traditional rather than research-backed for the sales-page claims.

Tongkat ali in ErecPower: the best-studied ingredient

Tongkat ali is the ErecPower ingredient with the most consistent human data. It is a root from a Southeast Asian shrub, also called Eurycoma longifolia. Trials link it to higher testosterone, mainly in men who start low.

Men with normal levels saw a smaller change that was not significant. Doses in these trials ran from 100 to 600 mg a day.

  • A review of five trials with 232 men found total testosterone rose, mostly in men with low starting levels (Leisegang et al., 2022).
  • A 2024 review of testosterone boosters rated tongkat ali as possibly effective, while most other booster ingredients failed (Morgado et al., 2024).
  • In 63 stressed adults, 200 mg a day for four weeks lowered cortisol and lifted mood scores in a small, industry-linked trial (Talbott et al., 2013).

ErecPower dose vs research dose: an honest table

Nobody can compare the ErecPower doses with research doses, because the amounts are not published. That is the biggest gap on the label. The meter below shows the doses used in human studies, with no ErecPower marker to place on it.

A capsule could hold a full study dose of one herb or a pinch of all six. The materials supplied do not say.

What else is on the ErecPower label, and what is missing?

Beyond the six plants, the materials say very little about what else is in ErecPower. The capsule type, fillers and minerals are all unnamed. Here is what we could not find.

None of these gaps prove a problem. They just mean the bottle itself is your best source.

  • Milligrams of each of the six ingredients
  • Serving size and the number of capsules a day
  • The natural minerals named on the graphic
  • Other ingredients such as the capsule shell and fillers
  • The name of the maker or distributor

How to check the ErecPower ingredients on your bottle

You can check your ErecPower bottle against this page in a few minutes. Start with the panel on the side of the label.

Match the six names

Look for hawthorn, tribulus, chrysin, epimedium, saw palmetto and tongkat ali on the panel.

Look for amounts

A full panel lists milligrams for each ingredient, or a total for any blend.

Read the other ingredients

This line names the capsule shell and fillers, which the sales materials skip.

Lot and batch checks are on the batch verify page. Possible reactions are covered on the side effects page.

ErecPower ingredients: common questions

How many ingredients does ErecPower list?

ErecPower names six plant ingredients: hawthorn berry, tribulus, chrysin, epimedium, saw palmetto and tongkat ali. The seller graphic also mentions natural minerals, but none are named.

How much tongkat ali is in each ErecPower capsule?

That amount is not published. No Supplement Facts panel was supplied, so the milligrams of every ingredient are unknown. Check the panel on your own bottle.

Which ErecPower ingredient has the strongest research?

Tongkat ali has the most consistent human data. A review of five trials found testosterone rose, mainly in men who started with low levels.

Does tribulus raise testosterone?

Not in human trials so far. Studies from 2005 to 2025 found no reliable rise in testosterone compared with placebo.

Is horny goat weed the same as epimedium?

Yes. Horny goat weed is the common name for epimedium. Its best-known compound is icariin, which has been tested mostly in animals.

Does ErecPower contain caffeine or a drug?

No stimulant or drug appears on any material we were given. Because the full panel was not supplied, read the label on your bottle to be sure.
